Synopsis-

The Inspector General is a satirical, screw-ball comedy and a twisted tale of con-artists about  the wealthy diamond merchant family the Mehta's. Unexpectedly they are visited by a handsome stranger from Delhi whom they fear is a Tax Commissioner. Upon hearing the news of his arrival to Mumbai the family descends into chaos trying to hide their crimes, but more importantly attempting to stab each other in back. It seems that they will go to any lengths to hurt each other, but as the tax man discovers not everything is at it appears to be, least of all his own position.
