Synopsis- Adapted from Agatha Christie’s renowned play that went on to garner and Academy Award nomination in 1958... Witness for the Prosecution, set in Bombay just days before emergency rule is declared during an unusual heavy monsoon in 1975, Karan Singh is accused of the murder of yesteryear movie star Katherine Gomes. He swears to his innocence, but his alibi hinges on the word of just one person, his wife Prerna who has much more than just a simple story to tell. Lawyers for the defense and prosecution battle it out in court to find the truth, but it’s shrouded by a series of lies, love and betrayal.
